First jump

The pandemic forced us to overcome many challenges since 2020. Our health measures have been effective and have proven that it is possible to experience freefall safely in this particular context. We have had no Covid-19 cases or outbreaks, even though thousands of people skydived with us last year. We will continue our efforts to limit the transmission risks of Covid-19 during the next season (from April 30 to October 11, 2022).

  • Certificates valid in May 2020: you had until July 24, 2020, inclusively to jump at the promotional price. If you want to use your certificate in 2021, you must pay the difference between the regular and promotional price.
  • Certificates valid throughout the 2020 season: you had until June 24, 2021, inclusively to jump at the promotional price.

We’re applying rigorous health measures to continue to offer an experience that meets your expectations, in an environment that is as safe as before. Your trust matters and we cherish it.

Here are the measures we have put in place to limit the transmission risks of Covid-19 and to ensure the safety of all employees, skydivers, customers and guests who will visit our two skydiving centres this year. Please note that you also have the responsibility to take your own precautions, for example, by washing your hands frequently, by avoiding touching your face, by respecting the two-meter physical distancing rule, etc.

The following measures are regularly reviewed and updated if need be.

  • The majority of our activities now take place outside. We’ve also changed the way we operate to minimize contacts between different groups and with different employees.
  • Each person’s temperature is taken with a contactless thermometer. It is also mandatory to complete a health questionnaire before accessing the site and/or our outdoor facilities.
  • Several hand washing and disinfection stations are installed inside and outside. Washing or disinfecting your hands is mandatory before entering the building.
  • Surfaces that are often touched are disinfected regularly and/or after each use (door handles, switches, bathrooms, pencils, payment terminals, computer mice and keyboards, belts and grab bars in planes and on ground simulators, etc.).
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times indoors. It is not mandatory outside unless the physical distance of two metres cannot be respected. Masks that can be tied behind the head and that are strong enough to stay in place during freefall can be purchased. Physical distancing is encouraged even between people wearing masks.
  • A strict 14-day quarantine policy is applied for staff members with flu and cold symptoms, who have been in contact with someone infected by Covid-19 or waiting for test results and who have travelled outside of Canada.

  • Aside from registration, payment and gearing up, all stages of the tandem jump are completed outside. This includes training, filming interviews before and after the jump (for those who purchased a video/photo package), as well as removing the harness.
  • In addition to being mandatory at all times indoors, wearing a mask is mandatory outside from the gearing-up stage until all the equipment has been removed after the jump. This applies to tandem passengers and instructors, who are also required to wear a full-face helmet.
  • Exceptionally, jumpsuits are not provided for tandem passengers. Therefore, customers should dress appropriately for the activity, i.e. comfortable and tight sports clothes that are adapted to the weather. Please note that clothing can be soiled during landing.
  • Instructors must wash or disinfect their hands before and after gearing up the passenger as well as before and after removing the harness.
  • Freefall goggles are disinfected between each customer.
  • Harnesses are disinfected and dried after each day of jumping.

Skydiving safety measures should never be sacrificed for Covid-19 health measures. Jumpers are required to check their equipment, to review emergency procedures and to seek assistance from an instructor or from the director of operations if they don’t feel safe or comfortable in any given situation.

  • All jumpers must have a mask that is strong enough to stay in place during freefall, wear it inside at all times and outside when the two-meter distance rule cannot be respected (ground simulators, boarding area, altitude climb in the plane, exit from the plane, freefall, etc.).
  • It is possible to pack parachutes inside, but the 2-meter distancing rule must be respected at all times.
  • Accompanying persons are not allowed for regular jumpers, to limit the number of people on-site.
  • Classroom computers cannot be used, in order to limit the number of people in the building.
  • Dirt dive practices must be performed without contact and with a distance of two metres between each skydiver.
  • Students must keep the same equipment throughout the day, including their parachute. All the equipment used is disinfected at the end of the day (altimeters, helmets, radios, life jackets, lead belts, jumpsuits, parachutes, etc.).

We look forward to seeing you in the sky!

How to begin:

  1. We prefer that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation.
  2. You will receive a 15 to 20 minutes training before your jump.
  3. Accompanied by your instructor, you will board the airplane wearing a jump suit and a special harness.
  4. Once you'll have reached the exit altitude, you will prepare to jump from the airplane, securely attached to your instructor.
  5. Once the parachute is deployed, you will enjoy a descent under canopy.
  6. You will land near the main building, so family and friends can easily watch your landing.
  7. The full activity will take approximately 3 hours, but we invite you to stay with us, enjoy your day, meet the team and watch other skydiving that is going on.

Are gift certificates transferable?

Yes. Gift certificates are transferable. Only the recipient of the gift certificate (the person to whom you offer it) can apply for a change of name. Transfer fees of $35 (plus taxes) apply for any transfer.

The recipient must complete the form below to complete the transfer. The gift certificate transfer will only be accepted if the form was sent at and the applicable fee was paid prior to the date of the jump.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age to make a tandem skydive is 14 and the minimum age to take the PFF training is 16. For anyone under the age of majority (18), a parental consent form must be signed by a parent before being allowed to jump. Please note that a parent must absolutely be present on the day of the jump if the minor is 14 or 15 years old. Here are the parental consent forms for tandem jumps, depending on where you choose to jump:

For a tandem done at our South Shore school (Farnham), click here.
For a tandem done at our North Shore school (Saint-Esprit), click here.

Should I make a reservation, and how long in advance?

Yes, it is best to book ahead. The more in advance you book, the better the chance to get the day/time you prefer. We suggest that you reserve one week in advance. You will be asked for a credit card number in order to confirm your reservation. A $50 deposit per person will be charged at the reservation.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we have gift certificates available. You can purchase a gift certificate for a jump or for any dollar amount that you would like. To order a gift certificate, click here.

Please note that all sales are final and gift certificates are not refundable.

Are gift certificates refundable and do they have an expiration date?

No. Gift certificates are not refundable and there is no expiration date on them. They keep their monetary value! However, any increase in the rates will result in a charge for the price difference on the gift certificate at the time of the jump.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes. If you cancel with 48 hours of advanced notice you will not incur any charges. If you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation date, your deposit of $50 per person will not be refunded.

What if I have a fear of heights?

Many skydivers have a fear of heights but still skydive! You will not have the feeling of height during your jump, neither in the airplane nor in freefall. Because you are jumping from 9000, 13, 500 or 18,000 feet, you will have no physical references to how high up you are; therefore, you will not experience any sensation of height.

Do I have to pay for the full amount when I make a reservation?

No, you pay the full amount only on the day of your jump. However, you will be asked to put down a deposit of $50 per person when you make the reservation.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Jumping is restricted if the sky is too cloudy or if the winds are too strong. It is rather unusual to cancel an entire day of skydiving. However, if this should happen, we will move your reservation without charge to any date and time that is convenient for you. If the weather looks uncertain on the day of your jump, we invite you to phone us before you travel out to the drop zone.

Is there a maximum weight?

The maximum weight is 250 pounds (115 kilos). For anyone exceeding 235 pounds (107 kilos), an additional $35 supplemental fee will be charged.

How should I dress?

Dress comfortably, and according to the day’s weather. Sport clothes and running shoes are appropriate. You will be provided with a jump suit to go over your clothes. Do not wear sandals or flip-flops ! Remember, it is colder in altitude than on the ground. The temperature will be between 0 and 10 degree Celsius.
